Registration Categories

Competitors (Kata & Kumite)
Open to all Kyokushin organizations, ages 4 and up. Register for kata, kumite, or both. Kumite competitors may enter their weight division and one above.

Late Registrations Due: May 15, 2026

Seminar Participants
Open to all organizations and ranks. Seminar held May 24, 2026. Separate registration is required even if you are competing.
Late Registrations Due: May 23, 2026
Referees & Judges

Open to qualified referees, judges, and officials. Includes access to tournament floor and briefing. Special hotel rates available.

Sayonara Party Guests
Celebrate after the tournament with dinner and entertainment. Separate ticket required; not included with other registrations.

Spectators

Passes required for entry on May 23, 2026. Options for general admission and VIP seating. 

Onsite tickets will not be available on the day of the event. Physical passes purchased the day before the tournament will be $50 for general admission. VIP physical passes obtained on the tournament day or the day before will be $100.

  1. Black Belt Dan Test Fee is $120 USD Cash Only, the fee must be paid in cash directly to Shihan Seyar Azadani on Friday May 22, 2026. The students and instructors who are grading for their black belt dan grades must be approved by their area Branch Chiefs; The Branch Chiefs must consult with the Country Chairman for final approvals of their students’ grading before the dan test.

  6. Please note that payment for spectator fees will only be accepted via card. Cash payments will not be available at the event. Be sure to bring a valid debit or credit card to ensure smooth entry. Onsite ticket purchases on May 23, 2026, will be available at a higher price. No spectator fee for Coaches. Kids under 5 are free.
Registration for The 2026 KYOKUSHIN-KAN AMERICA OPEN INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS will be done through the SMOOTHCOMP web application.

  • The Chief Instructor or head of Kyokushin karate school must register his/her school before students register as competitors.
  • The competitor must enter the KYU corresponding to his belt level.
